OPERATIONS MANAGER
Automotive batteries - Auckland based
Our client is a leading automotive battery product manufacturer, supplier and service support business well established in Australia and NZ.
The company is well resourced, strategically positioned globally and are undergoing a rapid growth phase in terms of acquisition and diversification into other automotive related product ranges.
To enance their strong presence and service reputation in the NZ marketplace they seek to employ a suitably experienced manager to control a warehouse team, logistics and distribution, P&L review, monitor budgets, profitability, banking and stock control, contractual obligations with the local partner, warranties and customer relationships.
To succeed in this role you will require a spread of experience in automotive parts, warehouse control, people management, logistics and distribution, customer relationship building, budgets, P&L review and cost control.
The role is a key position for the company and there will be out of town travel from time to time. The company will negotiate an attractive remuneraton package, including company vehicle, bonus scheme and supporting technology.
