TEAM LEADER
New truck rigging
Our client is a leading Auckland based road transport equipment manufacturer with a long established history of product innovation and quality output.
The business is steadily moving forward in annual revenue growth, market presentation and production capacity in line with current and future sales opportunities.
To further develop the existing internal production capacity and enhance quality control the management team seek to employ a hands-on team leader for the new truck fitout department.
It is likey that the successful applicant will be a qualified fitter welder with road transport manufacturing experience and be a people person with supervisory skills.
It will be necessary to have some computer skills and be capable of understanding and interpreting engineering plans.
Applicants with experience in heavy diesel mechanics with engineering experience will also be considered.
The main responsibility being to manage a small team of experienced fitting and welding staff to provide leadership, assistance and motivation, as required, to help the team achieve its production deadlines.
This is a key role and as the business grows thier may be opportunities for advancement.
An attractive hourly rate, overtime rate and other benefits will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
